Eb Over-The-Shoulder (OTS)

Manufactured by Kummer & Schetelich ca mid 1860's. Nickel Silver with 3
string actuated rotary valves. The horn is 54 1/2" in length and the Bell
diameter is 12". A Shield on the Bell Garland states "Kummer & Schetelich
Baltimore MD". This horn has a very large bore and bell, and produces a very
deep and large sound. It is a very easy playing horn. I have included a
picture of an identical horn with Brig. Gen. Slough's Brigade Band, taken in
Alexandria, Virginia, between 1863 and 1865. There is also a closeup of the
