Brass,
with three Berliner Piston valves. It is 33" long, and has
a bell diameter of 8". This horn was restored by Bill Deiss of
Southeastern Music Services and plays
very nicely. The bore of the bell is slightly larger than a regular Tenor
Horn, but is not as large as a Baritone. This horn is typical of the horns
that were made in Germany during the 1850's and imported to America.
